Chapter Officers

The president has the overall responsibility for ensuring that the local chapter effectively serves its members, whilst aligning to the aims and goals of ISACA international. Key responsibility areas include the development of chapter goals and strategy, the co-ordination of board activities, and the promotion of ISACA within the community.

The major responsibilities of the vice-president include assisting the president in the chapter activities and co-ordination and assisting board members in their  activities. The vice-president, on a rotational basis with the other vice president, acts as president in the absence of the president.

The chapter secretary acts as parliamentarian for all board and chapter meetings.The secretary is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of records of communication and correspondence of the chapter.

The treasurer main responsibility is to ensure sound financial management. The treasurer is the custodian of the chapter funds and ensure accurate financial records are kept and are submtted to audit.

The KZN Regional Co-ordinator, is responsible for co-ordinating the ISACA SA Chapter activities for the KZN area.  This includes the planning and administration of chapter events in the KZN region such as local training and chapter meetings. This training and chapter meetings are conducted in  Durban.
