ISACA SA Western Cape Regional Meeting From 23 October 2012 To 23 October 2012 Please diarize the date and time for the next ISACA SA Western Cape Regional Chapter Meeting:   Date: 23 October 2012   Time: 16h00 for 16h30 sharp   Venue: PricewaterhouseCoopers, 1 Waterhouse Place, Century City, Cape Town (map)   Agenda:   1.     Welcome and introduction   2.     Francois le Roux (Senior Manager, PricewaterhouseCoopers) presents “IT spending patterns and the health of your IT function” A lot can be learned from analyzing IT spending patterns, lessons that otherwise would not be revealed through controls audits. The presentation will provide you with lessons learned by the presenter when analyzing IT spending such as the businesses’ minds-set towards IT, not spending enough on IT, technical debt, risk-exposures in the environment etc.   3.     Peter Hill (Director, IT Governance Network) presents “Privacy legislation as approved by Parliament” Can your organisation afford to wait any longer? In just a few months the Protection of Personal Information Act will be a reality. What must you do now, and what can wait for a little longer.
