IT governance comprises the leadership, internal and external relationships, processes and monitoring that ensure that information technology sustains and extends the organization’s strategies and objectives while managing any associated risk. Information Security

Information Security is critical to enable organizations to operate in today’s interconnected society; yet, resource constraints often limit information security development and deployment. This stream presents the key elements of effective security management practices within an organization’s overall security management program. It will help practitioners make the business case to take information security to the next level within the organization. The sessions will also interest those holding Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM®) certification and those aspiring to become CISMs.

IT Risk Management & Compliance

Organizations need to develop and implement solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements while maintaining value delivery. This stream presents risk management concepts and how to apply them to the benefit of the organization and its stakeholders. It explores a variety of specific regulations and compliance requirements.
